I got an e-mail from a retailer (Karmaloop) today and it got me all fired up. I think it’s awesome that a company would be so outgoing in their beliefs. You rock Karmaloop. Here is the excerpt:

Before I get to the gear I need to talk to everyone about the election….

If our generation doesn’t turn out and VOTE we are going to get 4 more years of BUSH-McCain!….The fact is that people older than 50 a big majority of them won’t vote for OBAMA because those people are stuck in the America of the past were there was segregation, only men worked, and women didn’t have the right to control their own bodies, and straight up a lot of those people are racists (most people are too scared to just come out and say it)! Our generation doesn’t see things in just black and white like they did in the past. Anyone visiting the Karmaloop office would see the better country we are becoming our crew has every race represented and many different countries of origin all cool with each other cause we have the same interests, outlook, and ideas not the same race or religion!

The good news is PEOPLE 18-35 ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND OBAMA AND IF WE TURN OUT TO VOTE IN BIG NUMBERS WE MORE THAN CANCEL OUT THE OLD PEOPLE and OBAMA WINS!!!! If we don’t come out and vote in big numbers Obama loses it is just that simple. It is not enough to just cop an Obama t-shirts everyone needs to register and vote. If you don’t want abortion outlawed, stem cell research outlawed, the supreme court enacting unfair drug laws, to be in endless war in Iraq as well as new wars with Iran and Russia, the economy to keep sucking, to see scholarships dry up, and the very richest in society just get richer while everyone else gets poorer than you need to come out and vote for Obama and vote for change. Al Gore lost by a few thousand votes, if he had won we would never had Bush! So if everyone who gets this email votes and everyone who goes to Karmaloop votes we could literally help decide the election!

The Republicans are a party of fear, division, and distraction and they are using it to change the topic from how much they screwed things up the last 8 years as their boys robed the country blind $. Don’t let them keep doing this to us!

IT IS NOT TO LATE TO REGISTER (tell your friends) YOU HAVE UNTIL EARLY OCTOBER.
